22 conditions caused by Magnesium deficiency

YOU MOST PROBABLY HAVE MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY. Your body does not create the magnesium it needs! It has to obtain Magnesium from Food and Supplements!

WHY DO YOU NEED MAGNESIUM SO BADLY:

  1. Panic and Anxiety attacks
    • Magnesium normally keeps adrenal stress hormones under control.
  2. Asthma
    • Both bronchial spasms and histamine production increase with Magnesium deficiency.
  3. Blood Clots
    • Magnesium has an important role to play in keeping the blood thin and preventing blood clots - much like aspirin but without the known side effects.
  4. Bowel Disease
    • Magnesium deficiency slows down the bowel causing constipation, which could lead to colitis, malabsorption of nutrients, and toxicity.
  5. Cystitis
    • Bladder spasms are exasperated by Magnesium deficiency.
  6. Depression
    • Serotonin (used to elevate moods) production is dependent on Magnesium. A Magnesium-deficient brain is also more susceptible to allergens, foreign substances that can cause symptoms similar to mental illness.
  7. Detoxification
    • Magnesium is vital for the removal of heavy metals such as lead, aluminum and other toxic substances.
  8. Diabetes
    • Without Magnesium, insulin is not able to transport glucose into cells. Magnesium enhances insulin secretion which facilitates the body to metabolize sugar. Insulin and glucose build up, in the blood, can cause various types of tissue damage.
  9. Fatigue
    • People commonly experience fatigue because they are magnesium deficient. Without magnesium, dozens of enzyme systems are under-performing. Experiencing fatigue frequently often points to a magnesium deficiency.
  10. Heart disease
    • There is usually a correlation between Magnesium deficiency and heart disease. Magnesium is administered in hospitals for acute cardiac arrhythmia myocardial infarction. Like all muscles in our body, the heart muscle requires Magnesium. Magnesium is also used to treat chest pain caused by angina.
  11. Hypertension
    • With insufficient Magnesium, high cholesterol and spasm of blood vessels can occur, both of which lead to blood pressure problems. Magnesium also helps to relax the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily.
  12. Hypoglycemia
    • Magnesium is necessary to keep insulin under control. Low blood sugar can be the result of low magnesium levels.
  13. Insomnia
    • Melatonin production is disturbed without sufficient Magnesium. Melatonin is needed to regulating sleep.
  14. Kidney Disease
    • Magnesium deficiency creates blood sugar control issues and abnormal lipid levels especially in kidney transplant patients. Magnesium deficiency also contributes to atherosclerotic kidney failure.
  15. Liver Disease
    • Leading to liver failure - Magnesium deficiency is a common occurrence during liver transplants.
  16. Migraine
    • Serotonin balance is dependent on Magnesium. A serotonin deficiency can result in depression and migraine headaches.
  17. Musculoskeletal conditions
    • Fibromyalgia, fibrositis, eye twitches, muscle spasms, cramps and chronic back and neck pain may be caused by Magnesium deficiency. Magnesium supplements have helped a lot of people with these conditions.
  18. Nerve problems
    • Magnesium alleviates peripheral nerve disturbances throughout the whole body, such as muscle contractions, migraines, calf, foot, toe cramps and gastrointestinal spasms. It is also used in treating central nervous symptoms of confusion and vertigo.
  19. Gynecology and Obstetrics
    • Magnesium prevents dysmenorrhea (cramping pain during menses) and Premenstrual Syndrome. It is important in the treatment of infertility; and alleviates premature contractions, preeclampsia, and eclampsia in pregnancy. Intravenous Magnesium is given in obstetrical wards for pregnancy-induced hypertension and to lessen the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and cerebral palsy. Magnesium should be a required supplement for pregnant mothers.
  20. Osteoporosis
    • Use of calcium with Vitamin D to enhance calcium absorption, without a sufficient amount of Magnesium, causes further Magnesium deficiency, which triggers a series of events leading to bone loss.
  21. Raynaud’s Syndrome
    • Magnesium helps relax the spastic blood vessels that causes numbness and pain of the fingers.
  22. Tooth Decay
    • Magnesium deficiency causes an unhealthy balance of calcium and phosphorus in the saliva, which damages teeth.
